Hello brothers and sisters
I 've recieved this email from one of the George Town's proffessors and I would like you to know about it and particapte if you can :
Dear Friends,
I'm writing to let you know of a unique opportunity to help Education
City and the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the Kashmiri Earthquake.
This Saturday, December 3rd, Georgetown University in conjunction with
its sister institutions in Education City will host a Benefit Gala and
auction for victims of disasters in the United States and Kashmir. Our
theme is "No Borders"- a chance to demonstrate that humanitarian
assistance to those in need should not be limited by ethnicity or
geography.
Some of you might have already received numerous emails about the
event,
but a surprising number of people in Doha have not found out about it.
Help us to change this and show that Qatar society is firmly behind the
idea of giving.
I've attached the invitation in MS Word format-- *please* come or make
a
donation, *please *forward this invite on to anyone who might be able
to
come or institutions who would like to sponsor a table, and *please*
help us make the tradition of philanthropy a living part of Education
City!
All the best, and thanks!
Gregg
